Privacy policy

Stack (“we”, “the site”) is a free daily ordering puzzle. This page explains what we collect and what we don’t. Playing does not require an account.

What stays on your device

Your streak, win/loss stats, theme, and in-progress puzzle are saved only in this browser’s localStorage. We do not sync that data to a server. Clearing site data or switching browsers resets your stats.

What we don’t collect (today)

We do not ask for your name, email, or payment info to play. There is no login. Until advertising is turned on, the live site does not load third-party ad or analytics scripts from us.

Advertising (when enabled)

We plan to show display ads through Google AdSense (or a similar network) to keep Stack free. Ad slots sit outside the puzzle area and never block play. An optional one-time “remove ads” unlock may be offered later; it will never be required to play.

When ads are live, the ad network may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure performance. Google’s policies and controls are described in the Google Advertising page and Google Privacy Policy. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account or browser settings.

Hosting and logs

The site is served as static files (for example on Cloudflare Pages). The host may keep standard server or CDN logs (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build player profiles.

Share links

If you use “Share result,” the text is copied on your device (or opened in your share sheet). We do not receive a copy of what you share.

Children

Stack is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
